In this plan, Vodafone-idea customers get the facility of unlimited calling along with daily 1 GB data and 100 SMS. This prepaid plan of Vodafone-idea comes with a long validity. Therefore, with this plan, the consumer gets a validity of 72 days. With this plan, the consumer does not get benefits like an OTT subscription. Because with this plan of Vodafone-idea, the consumer gets a total of 72 GB data and the consumer has to spend an average of Rs 9.98 i.e. around Rs 10 per day for this plan.
Jio’s recharge plans are in this range
In this price range, the prepaid plan of Reliance Jio company is Rs 799. In this plan, the consumer gets daily 1.5 GB data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS and the validity of this plan is 84 days. According to this, the consumer gets a total of 126 GB of data. With this plan, some other service benefits like Jio Apps, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud are available for free.
Overall, private telecom companies have suffered a major setback due to recharge plans being expensive. Private telecom companies had to lose lakhs of consumers. BSNL has got direct benefits from this. Lakhs of consumers have ported their mobile numbers to BSNL. Now Jio Airtel and Vodafone-idea want to add consumers again.
